Campus Guidelines

These courses require you to take responsiblity for your own learning by guiding you through a series of activities. The aim of these activities is to encourage and support you to reflect on your own experience and your own ways of responding. Therefore it is a requirement of all CALM Ireland courses that you commit yourself to working through the activities to acheive the course aims.

Support Structures

At CALM Ireland we recommend that you practise your skills and techniques in a safe and supportive atmosphere. To this end we recommend that you find someone who is interested in working and supporting you in your e-learning course. Preferrably this should be someone who is working through the course at the same time as you. We facilitate this process through the use of discussion forums and private dialogues. In this way you can share your experiences, discuss activities and bring enthusiam, support and partnership to the courses. If however you are working through the courses by yourself it is important that you would practise any skills and techniques learned, in a safe and non-threatening environment.
